Renting In Sussex
We understand how difficult moving house can be and our aim is to make the process as stress-free as possible for you. Below is some information on what would be required for a tenant to rent from Foster & Co
Reservation Fee
If you have an offer accepted on a property you will be required to pay a 1 week reservation fee which will enable us to remove the property from the market and cancel all other viewings. If you later decide not to sign the tenancy agreement for the property or don’t pass the reference checks, the reservation fee is not refundable.
The fee is refundable (minus any costs incurred) if the landlord decides to withdraw.
We also need to see your photo ID (passport or EU driving licence) and proof of current address (utility bill).
Before moving in the following is required:
- 5 weeks deposit
- 1 months rent in advance

Tenants currently renting with us
If you are a tenant living in a property which is managed by us then please log your maintenance issue via the email address below and we will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible:
If you have an emergency please call the office line on 01273 830 919. If this is out-of-hours and we don’t immediately pick up the call please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Where issues arise as a result of actions committed by you the tenant, you may be expected to pay the cost of the invoice. In the event that you are locked out of your property out-of-hours and require a member of the Foster & Co team to gain access, there will be a charge of £80.
