We have a huge commitment to our industry and our agents many years of experience. We believe that a personal touch is absolutely essential and we aim to bring this to the whole home buying experience. As such, we have decided to move away from impersonal and corporate estate agency. We trust you will appreciate our more relaxed and friendly, and yet still professional, approach. Exceptional levels of customer service are our number one priority. This means our vendors and landlords are kept well informed and up-to-date at all times. We provide feedback from all viewings, good or bad, and use our extensive knowledge to work together with you to achieve your goal, whether that is selling or letting your home.

Nick
Ed Foster
Ed was born and raised in Brighton and Hove and was educated at St. Christopher’s school followed by Brighton College. Ed started his career in Estate Agency at the age of 17 working for Lewis and Co which was later bought by Hamptons International where he worked for just over 8 years building up a number of valuable contacts and working relationships.
Rodger Heasman
With a career spanning over 20 years in the Estate Agency industry, Rodger brings a wealth of experience and a personal touch to your property journey. His journey began back in 2002, and since then, he has dedicated himself to helping families and individuals find their dream homes.
Lily
Lily grew up in the countryside and has always lived in local villages on the outskirts of Brighton and Hove. She now lives in the village of Henfield where she spends most of her time in the Mid-Sussex office enjoying working within the village community. She started her career working for two large corporate Estate Agencies and took the plunge to set up Foster & Co with Ed back in 2017.
Nowadays Lily oversees Foster & Co’s three offices and works with the teams to make sure everything runs smoothly bringing organisation and structure to each branch.
Alice
Alice is a dedicated team member at Foster and Co., having transitioned from a successful career as a sales negotiator for local estate agents to an administrative role across all three offices. With a diverse background, Alice has lived in both London and Dubai and is now happily settled in Brighton with her young family. Passionate about the outdoors, Alice enjoys walking the South Downs, sea swimming, and exploring new destinations in her spare time.
Lisa
With over 10 years of experience in the property industry, I am currently working as a Sales Negotiator at Foster and Co., where I pride myself on delivering the highest standards of service to my clients. My approach is focused on guiding individuals and families through what can often be a challenging and emotional journey, always striving to make the process as smooth and rewarding as possible.
Mark
Mark has worked in the local property scene in Brighton & Hove as an estate agent, for nearly 40 years and his love for the industry and desire to help his clients and customers is undiminished from the day he started!
During this period Mark has seen and done it all in property terms and his experience and understanding of the property market in the City is both extensive and valuable.
Mark is married with 4 children whose ages range from 31 to 13, Mark is very busy out of work too! In his spare time he enjoys watching live music and is a massive Brighton & Hove Albion supporter and has been a season ticket holder since 1978!
Nick
Nick grew up locally in Brighton & Hove and was educated at Blatchington Mill school and now lives on the outskirts of Brighton in mid-Sussex.
Nick played football professionally from a young age and has since found interest in developing and renovating properties in his spare time as well as spending time with his wife and beloved dog, Miley.
Jessie
Jessie is Ed’s twin sister and grew up with him in Brighton&Hove and attended Brighton College.
She initially followed a different career path to Ed, working in a senior customer facing role in the aviation industry. In more recent times she decided to use her customer experience within Foster & Co and now works as a sales negotiator at the firms flagship Hove office.
Renowned for her friendly and outgoing personality together with her commitment to outstanding customer service. Jessie is an integral part to the Hove team.
Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her family and also following Brighton&Hove Albion football club.
Archie
Archie lives locally and was born and raised in Brighton.
He started his career back in 2014 having previously worked for a few other local agents, he has joined Foster & Co to help the day to day running of the lettings department.
Out of the office Archie enjoys playing and watching the football.
Maddie
Maddie joined Foster & Co in 2024 after working in the industry since 2021. Born and raised in Brighton, Maddie has a deep understanding of the local property market and a passion for helping clients find their perfect home. Her experience allows her to offer guidance on renting, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both tenants and landlords.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys running and spends most of her spare time at the football side lines cheering on her son’s football team.
Josh
Josh has worked in the property scene in Sussex as an estate agent, for nearly 15 years. Josh has a real passion for property and making sure vendors and buyers get the highest level of customer service.
Since being in the industry Josh has worked in sales, lettings, and new builds. This experience helps overcome everything that comes on a day-to-day life of an estate agent.
Josh is married and has a newborn baby boy. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing as much tennis and paddle as he can.
Martin
Martin started his career in estate agency in the 80s and has worked in selling all types of new and second hand homes in East and West Sussex ever since.
He has also specialised in land and new homes, site assembly and site acquisition and the many processes required for planning consents. This knowledge will certainly be put to good use with the unique small developments and larger sites that Foster & Co have to offer.
Martin has a busy family life with his wife and children (and 2 dogs) and enjoys downtime in Spain for the warmer climate.
Niamh
Niamh was born and raised in East Sussex, attending college in Brighton, where she studied Law, Business and Criminology. She started her career in an accountancy practice in Brighton, assisting with administration and bookkeeping services to clients. She joined Foster & Co in March 2025 where she provides general office support, alongside dealing with the financial affairs of the company across all the offices. When she can, Niamh loves to travel abroad with her friends and is always planning her next get away.
Leonor
Leonor grew up in Brighton & Hove and brings her local knowledge and passion for the area into every part of her work. She began her Estate Agency career in 2021 working in Lettings and has since built a strong foundation of expertise and insight within the property market. Her hands-on experience and understanding of the industry allow her to deliver thorough, reliable inspections with a professional and approachable manner. Outside of work, Leonor enjoys spending her free time supporting Brighton & Hove Albion and socialising with her friends.
Tracy
Tracy began her property career many moons ago, building a strong foundation in residential management, this is where her natural problem-solving skills, together with organisation, and people-first approach truly shine. Known for managing every property with care, fairness, and the same attention she would give her own, Tracy brings a calm and solution-led mindset to even the most complex challenges. She is a proactive communicator, a thoughtful mediator, and a relentless seeker of practical, balanced outcomes for landlords, tenants, and contractors alike. At Foster & Co, Tracy continues to deliver the professionalism, integrity, and personal service which she has become known for, ensuring all clients receive exceptional management and complete peace of mind.
